The concept of the modular building is inspired by classic aircraft, specifically the shiny aluminum skin they were made of. The concept is based on a simple, austere structure with a minimalist finish and an expressive interior. The building is finished with Bio-aluminum panels manufactured by the American company Coverings Etc. We suggested this material because it is obtained from recycled aircraft skins that have been taken out of service. This material can be replaced with titanium-zinc sheet panels. The interior of the building is divided into several zones according to the layout of functions. The games zone is located on the south side, and the video games zone in the central part of the building does not require additional lighting. The meeting room, lounge area, and dining area offer a view of the airport. The glazing of the facade is arranged according to function and direction. Most of the glazing is on the east and south sides, and the least on the north and west sides. We suggest that the building be constructed to passive or energy-efficient standards on a foundation slab. Heating is provided by, for example, a ground source heat pump with recuperation and supported by solar collectors. The building is insulated with 20 cm of mineral wool (walls) and 30 cm (roof).
