The creative process
From idea to implementation in just a few steps
Meeting
A meeting is an indispensable part of starting cooperation. While a functional program or a general idea of your dream home can be described in text form, nothing can replace discussing and verifying certain assumptions during a meeting or video chat.
It cannot be denied that for cooperation to proceed as both parties expect, there must be “chemistry.”
We prefer to meet in our studio, because we can immediately present not only designs, but also material samples and technological innovations. Both sides expect this – there has to be “chemistry.”
The idea
Once the key elements of the project have been determined, we get to work on the most important element of the project, namely its guiding principle. This is an extremely interesting and creative stage, during which many sketches and working models are created.
Analysis
When working on the concept, form, and functional layout, we take into account many aspects that determine the final appearance of your home.
The surrounding context, the shape of the plot and its location, and how the sun operates – these are just a few of the factors that need to be taken into account.
We also analyze possible functional layouts to ensure that the best one is selected.
3D models
During the concept development process, we create a bunch of 3D models in a few variations. We evaluate them and pick the one that best reflects the original idea and answers the questions we asked at the start of our collaboration, and then we keep working on the project based on that.
Functional projections
Let's move smoothly from conceptual sketches to projections and cross-sections that take into account the principles of building physics, installation aspects, and, of course, formal and legal issues.
Materials
At the same time, we are working on selecting materials that will best reflect the character of the house. We are working on material samples, comparing shades, textures, and, of course, prices.
Official matters
We also take care of this part of the investment process. With several years of experience in conducting administrative proceedings, there is not much that can surprise us anymore. We could write a book on this topic, but we will leave that for our retirement.
Construction
We actively participate in the construction process as part of our authorial supervision, giving you the assurance that during our visits to the construction site, we will take care of one of the many issues that arise during the implementation stage.
Long before construction work begins, you receive a detailed design, which provides additional details to the documentation submitted to the Office.
Energy-efficient and passive houses
Passive and energy-efficient houses are the future of construction. At our studio, we offer designs that meet passive and energy-efficient standards while adhering to fundamental principles:
