The design study concerned an area of particular historical value due to the existing modernist villa "Nina", as that was the name of the building at 6 Daszyńskiego Street, which was built in the years 1933-1935. From the beginning, the villa was owned by the Inowrocław Municipal Savings Bank, only to be taken over by the Polish Ocean Lines company in the 1960s. At that time, a second building was added to the existing building and connected by a link, thus creating the famous "Fregata" sanatorium. Our aim was to preserve the historical character of the building, so the project was consulted with the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship Conservator of Monuments. The end result is an intimate ensemble of buildings with detail, scale and character matching the historic surroundings. The Scrafitto, listed in the register of historical monuments, has become an integral part of the newly designed connector and a kind of showpiece of the investment.
